Reserve a morning bath at the hot spring
This is a rare and amazing tour where you can rent out a hot spring exclusively for yourself, where the water flows straight from a stratum that is over 200 million years old, and enjoy a morning bath early in the morning.
Private booking of a large super public bathhouse is unheard of, and is a service unique to Katsura Onsen "Nizaemon no Yu." For private use by families or couples, it is possible for both men and women to bathe together, regardless of gender.
Because it is a private hot spring, tattoos are allowed, which are prohibited in regular Japanese hot springs. You can also bring your smartphone, so you can take photos freely.

Tour Conditions
- The tour is held Monday through Saturday (excluding public holidays)
- The reservation time is until 9 am. (final departure time is 9:10)
- Tattoos are OK
- You can bring in a camera, but please note that taking pictures of people without permission or taking pictures of them secretly is strictly prohibited. We will not accept any damages incurred as a result of such actions.
- There are no restrictions on private use by families, etc., but for groups, we will provide separate baths for men and women.

An open-air bath that was also enjoyed by nobles
Katsura Onsen "Nizaemon no Yu" is a genuine "natural hot spring" that springs from underground within the facility's grounds at the foot of Sannomiya Shrine.
In addition to an open-air bath with a view of Katsura no Tsuki, a view beloved by nobles, there is the cold hot spring Ichinoyu, which is gentle on the skin, and the Jin no Yu, which warms the body from the inside out and keeps it warm for a long time; two free-flowing baths, rare even in Kyoto.

Luxurious bath
"Kakenagashi" is a very luxurious bath in which the hot spring water is continuously poured into the bathtub as it flows, and any water that overflows is not returned to the bathtub.
In addition, we make as little alteration as possible to our flowing baths so that you can enjoy the hot spring water at its most concentrated state.
You can enjoy two types of hot spring water: a simple hot spring with a smooth spring quality that is effective for beautifying the skin, and a chloride bicarbonate hot spring that is refreshing and warming.
