We provide a tour that provides the same VIP service to international dignitaries visiting the World Heritage Site, Kamigamo Shrine.
In addition to an explanation by a Shinto priest, this private special worship tour will take you up close to the main shrine, which is normally off-limits, and allow you to receive purification rituals from the gods up close.

Tour Conditions
- Groups will also need to remove their items one by one.
- Free for ages 0-5, adult price for ages 6 and over
- If you participate alone, the price is 55,000 yen per person. If you participate with two people, the price is 1 yen per person.

Kamigamo Shrine, a World Heritage Site that Kyoto is proud of
Kamigamo Shrine (Kamo Wakeikazuchi Shrine) is one of the oldest shrines in Kyoto and is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Founded in the 7th century, it is considered the second most prestigious shrine in Japan alongside Shimogamo Shrine. It enshrines the god of thunder, Kamo Wakeikazuchi no Okami, and is loved by people who come to pray for bountiful harvests and protection from evil.
The temple grounds are surrounded by lush nature, and feature the pure Mitarai River and the symbolic Tatezuna sand, providing a tranquil space for visitors.
