Kazuya Yamaguchi, a visual artist with a 25-year career, started out in a small live music venue, and in recent years has had successful solo performances at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto Main Hall and the classical music hall The Symphony Hall. He also performed an improvised painting performance with early music instrument players at the Armani Ginza Tower renewal commemorative event, pursuing the expression of fundamental beauty that transcends the genres of art and music.

Kazuya Yamaguchi
An artist who uses painting and photography to depict the eternity that exists beyond the moment.
"KAKIAIKKO" is an improvisational piece that I do on stage with a musician.
In 2000, he won the Grand Prize at the Sekiguchi Art Foundation Award (TAMON Award) at the National Open Painting Exhibition.
As a bonus prize, he stayed in New York and was commissioned by Japanese painter Hiroshi Senju to photograph him working in his studio for five years, which resulted in the publication of two photo books.
Since 2008, he has continued to photograph boxer Tatsuyoshi Joichiro.
